Our Delivery Policy

Standard Delivery Rates

Our standard delivery rate is first class post dispatched through the Royal Mail. Currently we charge £2.49 on orders less than £30 (see our p&p rates and explanation). Orders over £30 and below £50 are dispatched free of charge. Orders over £50 automatically qualify for Special Delivery postage (though any customer can request this service for the additional sum of £3.49 - click here to find out how to upgrade). Dispatch is usually carried out within 24 hours of receipt of order or the same day with Special Delivery (see our Dispatch Policy).

Special Delivery / Signed For

Special Delivery is provided by Royal Mail, 1st Class, Signature required on receipt, with delivery usually before 1.00pm the next WORKING day (EXCLUDES weekends). Royal Mail terms and conditions apply click here.

We usually dispatch all orders that request Special Delivery (prior to 12 o'clock midday, Monday to Friday - working days) the same day, though we cannot guarantee this. Orders placed after this will follow the next day.

How To Upgrade From Standard Delivery To Special Delivery

Orders over £50 automatically qualify for Special Delivery. Orders under £50 can opt for an upgrade in postage by paying an additional fee of £3.49. To do this, simply shop in the usual way, adding items to your shopping cart. When you've finished your shopping, click the VIEW CART / CHECKOUT link which you'll find in the upper right corner of most product pages (a little below the search box), then follow the instructions. Read each page carefully. Within a couple of clicks you'll be asked if you wish to upgrade to Special Delivery. Simply click the Yes button.

Outside UK

We do not usually delivery outside of the UK mainland and any p&p costs that may be stated relate only to those costs attributable for UK delivery. Separate arrangement made be made for overseas orders - please contact us for details.

Items RETURNED by the Post Office

Where we have received payment for goods, have supplied those goods and sent them to a provided address, and where those goods are returned to us for whatever reason by the post office (be it that the postal address provided was incorrect, that the goods were rejected by the recipient, be it that the resident is noted to have "gone away" - or whatever the reason), we will refund the price of the goods purchased LESS the price of postage + an administration charge of £1.50.
